This church is located in the vicinity of Okubo, one of Tokyo’s least salubrious areas. There are a large number of Korean and Chinese restaurants but there are also a number of ladies of the night who offer “massages”. Of course, the consort of Mr. de Nazareth was a practitioner of the oldest trade, so it only makes sense that a church in Tokyo would be here.

I’ve never seen a white wedding spill out of here, but then I work on Saturdays and Sundays.
